RestaurantsThe Heathfield Inn is slightly off the beaten track on the Sidmouth Road and offers a good a la Carte menu. Combe House Hotel is an award winning gourmet restaurant at Gittisham, on the outskirts of Honiton. The Red Cow Inn is near the top of the High Street and offers an excellent range of freshly cooked food. At the Hare and Hounds between Honiton and Sidmouth you can enjoy a really excellent carvery. Seasons Traditional Tea Rooms offer a superb Devon cream tea to enjoy after a day's sightseeing. A little further out of town is the Salston Manor Hotel which has a fine restaurant and wonderful views over the Otter Valley. There is a delightful garden surrounding the Ark Pottery at Wiggaton and you can also enjoy a display of hand made pottery and ceramic items.
