Gatcombe Farm
Tucked away in a quiet valley, Gatcombe Farm, near Seaton, has been welcoming visitors to this lovely spot in East Devon for more than 20 years. It’s the perfect place to enjoy farmhouse hospitality from Julie Reed and her family. Plus, it’s just minutes away from the beautiful Jurassic Coastline. Enjoy the country comforts of spacious rooms, fully equipped with everything you could possibly need for a quiet weekend or a longer holiday. Starting as soon as you arrive you will find the peace and quiet of the area very appealing. There is a large enclosed garden where you can relax in with a cup of tea and a piece of homemade cake when you arrive. The garden is also a safe place for your children to play in. Unwind in the guest lounge, a room that is more than 300 years old. You’ll enjoy relaxing under the traditional beams and seeing the unusual brick and beamed wall, whilst enjoying a cup of tea or coffee. After a good night’s sleep in one of the two comfortable, ensuite bedrooms you can enjoy your breakfast in the dining room. Breakfast is a traditional English one that will set you up for the day. The bacon and sausages are home produced and Julie tries to use as much locally sourced produce as possible. After breakfast you’re free to enjoy the day. Take a walk on one of the many footpaths leading to the Jurassic World Heritage Coastline or stroll into the yard to watch the cows being milked. Gatcombe Farm is an ideal base for those wishing to abandon their car and savour the countryside on foot. Contact Information: Mrs Julie Reed Gatcombe Farm Seaton Devon EX12 3AA
