The Heathfield Inn
The Heathfield Inn is somewhat unusual in that it’s a 16th Century thatched building but it stands in the middle of a modern housing estate. However, this in no way detracts from the charm of the building. Formerly a farmhouse it has been run as a pub, restaurant and guesthouse for a number of years. Although it’s not the cheapest food in Honiton the food is tasty and well prepared and there’s plenty of it. You can choose from an à la Carte menu of local and international dishes. If you have a family then they can provide a high chair and there’s also a children’s menu. The restaurant area is completely non-smoking but there is some drift from the bar, which does spoil the non-smoking area slightly. If you are looking for a place to stay then there are seven very comfortable guestrooms, including one with a four poster bed. Contact details:
